Today is my last day of work. I am suddenly a mess and can't believe how hard this is for me.
I am so scared- of school, of change, of my choices. =/ And I am really going to miss my job and those kids.

While packing up my jewelry today I counted 75 pairs of earrings, not including the lonely-onlies. I know there are some more floating around the apartment. I rediscovered about 25 pairs I haven't worn in years- it's like going shopping in my own closet.

- Today the pug comes home. Obviously this means we're not moving after all. I'm not sure whether to name her Lulabelle (an ode to Piggy Loo) or Suki Sumo. I think those are both pretty fierce names and the ultimate decision will depend on her personality.
- I sold my elliptical trainer today for $60. The lady got an incredible deal, but what she doesn't know is that I would have given it away for free just to get it out of the apartment. I love that lady, though. The first thing she said when she walked in was "wow, you have the cutest place!" I can't say I disagree lately - we have been trying hard to make this place more bearable and "us" since we decided to stay. We'll probably hang out here till we can buy a place.
- I have now officially lost 10 pounds on the less cardio, more iron pumping workout plan. Much better than Weight Watchers. I don't need a team, just a gym membership and Kim (motivation!).

- I am really tired of the bullshit that is the exhaust fan noise, smell, and vibrations from the restaurant downstairs. Is anyone else forced to endure endless hours of noise and shaky floors? I am citing this as the reason we should be let out of our lease earlier than August. Can I do that?

- Work has been insane. I am tired and slightly crabby about it.
- It is hot. 94 degrees of hotness, to be exact.
- Since I am getting a pug puppy in September, it recently occurred to me that there is a pregnant pug mommy somewhere close by that is carrying my puggy fetus. This makes me very happy. Now I need to find her.

I found a pair of capris that I really liked (down one size, woo!) but decided to get black instead of khaki. I didn't try on the black ones because I figured they were the same exact style and size as the khakis. I came home to change for the night, and lo and behold, the black ones don't fit. I hate you, Old Navy.

I spent a couple of hours at the gym with Kim, and feel like I was beaten up in my sleep last night. Thank you, Kim, for kicking my m-effing ass into shape. I especially hurt between my shoulder blades.

- Leo and I bought tickets for the Prince show on 07-07-07. They cost $31.21, appropriately enough. I'm so excited!
- I am stealing Kat's bulleted LJ entry idea, because it is the best.
- Wednesday (June 6) is exactly ONE YEAR till the big-dub-dee (wedding day). This was a productive week in wedding planning as I chose our colors (orange and raspberry with golden yellow and green), dj service provider, favors, florist, and centerpieces (so cool!), ordered personalized ribbon and cake table napkins, and I think I may have figured out the BM dresses this morning. I hate wedding gowns with a passion.
- I need to stop browsing the petfinder.com website for the sake of my mental health. I can't have a dog until the end of August.
- Tomorrow is Grand Old Day, which means college coeds all over Minneapolis and St. Paul will be making the annual pilgrimage to Grand Ave (my street) to get wasted and barf all over the sidewalk. Hoorah!
- Leo and I went for a walk around the lake and ended up getting caught in a freak hail storm halfway around. It hurt! We had to take shelter under a tree with a bunch of others who were at the lake. We were soaked to the bone.
